Review: The guitar add-ins and the beat make this a more complete session. I'm not a fan of sounds bouncing from left to right through my headphones, but it isn't repetitive or annoying at all. Overall, you are just missing the lyrical aspect. Great stuff.

Comment: You've left me some good critique on my submissions. I haven't read them until now. Thanks. After going through my page I realized I don't like much of it. Too much fruityloops, not enough real instruments haha. Recently, I've learned to keep my best stuff with me. As far as the rest can go; I'm going to apply them to real instruments and make something new.

Awesome. Thank you for the listen and review!

I can dig it.

I'm not a fan of fade outs, but this is an exception. Great Job! *Tim & Eric style*

Thanks for the review! ;) appreciate it!

Sick.

3.29 / 5.00 (+ 0.49) This provokes imagination to a "higher" extent. I'm downloading this and adding it to my favorites. The only criticism I have is you need more songs like this ;)

MindOverMatt responds:

Thank you so much! I'm really happy that you dig this! I will keep more coming, have you checked out "Days of Old"?

Nice Idea.

That would be really fun to do sometime...creative shit.

MindOverMatt responds:

It was a lot of fun. Always good to explore weirdness. Thanks for listening!

I apologize.

I know my lyrics by heart and I rap it to this song all the time, but still...no recording. I haven't set up a recording session because I don't have any time to yet. Excuses aside, I promise within the year I will vocalize this song. Peace.

freddyfinger responds:

it's cool, no rush man, thanks for letting me know though, i was wondering what happened to ya haha

This style is dope.

I'm on a computer with no sub action and it already sounds sick. Expand on your style more and you'll find a pot of gold. Peace.

FGOLD >:D

Beautiful.

It's not often you find a relaxing hip hop tune, so I had to download it haha. The only creative criticism I can share with you is the cutout from the kick. A little less and the song will resonate. Keep it up and if you get the chance check out some of my work. Most of my songs are rated mediocre because a lot of people here don't listen to the song at least halfway through. Anyway! Peace.

PoyzenJam responds:

thanks, yeah i think ill turn down the sidechaining just a tad
sure ill check your stuff out
thanks for reviewing
glad you likey

Beautiful.

I already downloaded it, and I'm going to be listening to this when I take a walk later tonight. I love the chords, the emotional output, and the tempo.

haywirehaywire responds:

thanks a lot!

Great work here.

First, it sounds great on my sub. The fact that you haven't delved into this genre until you made this loop is fascinating. I'd love to hear how you take this loop and tend to it until its a full song. I have no doubt in my mind that you could be in the top 3 the next dubstep contest. Keep at it and keep it up!

Peace.

gregaaron89 responds:

Thanks a lot for the ego boost :D I didn't have a plan at first, I did a lot of experimenting here and I just threw out the stuff that wasn't working and kept what sounded good. Next time hopefully I'll have it more planned out in my mind and I can take it to a full song. And if you make another contest I'll try to join it if I have time.

Awesome song.

5/5 and 9/10! I love the beat and the sampling. The reverse build-ups were a great addition and the energy was great. Thanks for participating in the first dubstep contest on NG that I know of haha. Keep at it and keep it up!
